Kumble............ My CRUSH,LOVE, CRICKET for me is him.... When my friends said, we'll go and watch cricket... LIVE... WOW.. In a stadium... i was all thrilled.... Belive me i was all thrilled and excited....
I remembered those golden days of watching cricket at home... Me, my brother and my Dad... Woooow.. those days were sooo damn good.... We used to probably watch all possible matches on TV... Ofcourse its been ages.. Those were the days.. These days i am not very much into watching much of cricket... Even then, watching Cricket LIVE, Watching KUMBLE... Wowieee.... dream come true....
Thursday i came to office and cricket was the only thing on my mind... Couldnt think of anything else.. was imagining how it might be in the stadium, how would be the view... oh man... tooo many things on mind.. Had to wait till 4 PM in the evening get out of my work place... :D
All the 10 of us gathered and decided to start to THE Inaguaration and CRICKET MATCH... BCCI Champions League... Royal Challengers Vs Cape Cobras( Hadnt even heard of it) in Chinnaswamy Stadium..... I had always seen the stadium from outside... never had i been inside... On our way, tooo much of trafiice.. hurried up and reached the place.. We all painted our faces RC RC RC RC RC... :) We would win.. ROYAL CHALLENGERS rock....
Tight security to enter the stadium while entering the stadium.. We had locked all our laptops already in office in our drawers.. so walked in empty handed.....Belive me i didnt even know who are in the team except few players... Asif didnt have a ticket finally manged to buy one more in black(there also we got cheated in the block) Then these guys did a lot of golmal and finally all of us managed to get in and settle down....
We all sat in the seating exactly above the entrace of A stand.... We had a complete view... i could see the ground, see sooo many people.. Wow.. i was all thrilled excited.. We could hardly identify anyone on ground.. but could certainly watch the play.....
Slowly the crowd started building up.. Sooo many people.. and the stadium was FULL by 7... Tada... the inaguaration started... All the teams captians were called and they were asked to imprint their hand on the clay frame... We all cheered sooooooo much shouted and yelled when KUMBLE came.. Hurrahhhh.... Yeah.... it was soooperb.... Then all the artist started their performances.. intially i donno there was a lady singing.. we all made fun... thats all.. after that there was a dance erformance with all good drummers... man base drummers.. wonderful music.. and people dancing all around... fog, fire crackers... woooow.... There were 4 guys(climbing on the poles shaped a cube) who showed their gymnastic performance.. then.. chinese dragins... then the kerala guys doing kalaripayattu and chiinese showing their martal arts.... woww... the stage was on fire... there came shaggy, jemelia.. woooooooooooow.. Ingauration was the best one i had ever seen in my life.. LIVE and STAGE ON FIRE... woooow... cooooooooool one... Our money on Rs.350 was worth there itself... :)
MAN THE MUSIC, CROWD, STADIUM, PROGRAMS.... EVERYTHING WAS SOOO DAMN GOOD.... EXPERIENCE OF LIFE TIME..... :) :) :)
Now the time for the match.. Kumble and the puttock came for the toss.. Kumble won the toss and chose batting.. Crowd was sooooooooooooo enthusiatic, and cheering.. By then out voices were already gone... Cheered RC RC RC RC RC.... match started... Wooow.. all thrilled and happy i started watching it... and belive me we batted soo well... we got the hope on winning already..... 4,6 and woow.. and one ball was hit high... ooooooo thoguht he caught it.. Man.. he left that catch.. yipieeeeeeeeee we all screamed loud and wooow... One more ball dravid was run out, we were keeping our fingers crossed before the thrid umpire decision was given and booom... he got out... :(:(.. After that Taylor's turn.. Yipieeeeeeeeee sooo many 6, 4 ,... wooow.... we scored 145/4 in 20 overs.....Too good a play.. felt low when we lost our wickets... but still managed to keep ourselves cheered... Hmm.... wonderful it was to watch it live.....
Then came the cobras turn.. First 2 overs there wasnt any wickets.. 3rd over.. KUMBLE got a wickets.. Yipppie... Man those guys played well(even without any cheering for them) People were booooing when they played well infact( spoilt sports).. DUMINI saved them..... They won.. :( we lost with a smaller margin though... :( thats fine..
It was 12 when the match got over... reached home by 12.30... Wooooooooow one of the wonderful experience for the lifetime...
