Checking all my documents.. again and again!!!! Sooo damn nervous, new place to go in, where i don't even know the language.... Was sooo damn tensed.... Yes was leaving for my VISA stamping to Chennai..... Remembered my CET Counselling days.... when i was soo tensed, checking all the documents and hoping for things to go on fine...
Evening after returning from office, rushed to get all the documents photo copied and bought a file and checked with the list( check list for the first time) of documents to be taken along... Was in a big mess.. I don't believe i checked the documents couple of times before leaving home.. Finally started to majestic and gosh... a hell lot of traffic to reach there.... I reached just 5 mins before my bus could start... I made it and got into the bus.. Was full of excitement and tension.. was lot nervous..... don't remem when i slept... At 5 AM in the morning finally i reached Chennai... Then i had to reach a place called tirvanmeyur to reach my friends... I knew i can never utter a single Tamil word and its very difficult to manage in Chennai without speaking Tamil.... Somehow with help of one couple who travelled along with me to Chennai, i reached tiruvanmeyur.. was sooo happy to see sheethal there... :) :) :)
Once i reached, again,. document verification!!!!! ;) ;)
Now time to go to VISA office.... was getting more and more nervous as the time was nearing.. Managed to reach ajantha stop by changing 2 buses and there gymmy waited for me.. I reached American Embassy... My heart was pounding.... was sooooo nervous....
Then my documents were verified, gave my finger prints too... was little relaxed after that.....
Then time to stand in Queue for my turn to get stamped... there were 7 counters.... And few got VISA couple of them got rejected.... I was looking at one counter where people were getting rejected turn by turn... Could not believe when 6 people continuously got rejected..... And there comes my turn, to the same counter... Man i thought i lost it..... Then he checked all my documents and couple of questions.. and i heard the golden sentence " Thank you, will send your passport to your office in Next one week"
I don't have any words to express how happy i was... i smiled the whole while till i came out of the embassy!!!! I PASSED it... i yelled inside... :)
two more days i roamed a with my friends over there... Saw a wonderful sunrise in basanthnagar beach and had amazing idli in Murugan Idli shop!!! Saw a movie Spencer plaza..... Finally started back to Bangalore.. was thinking sitting inside the bus how tensed i was when i came here and how peacefully i am leaving.......... Left Chennai with a big smile on my face!!!!
